london, uk :: museums + rainbows

17 Jul

The Victoria and Albert Museum is one of my favourite places to visit in London, UK. No trip is ever complete without a stroll through the cast courts. Unfortunately, the other side is still closed for refurb, but the fashion section has finally reopened looking as lovely as ever! Psst… don’t miss poking your head inside the cafe even if you are not hungry! The Morris, Gamble and Poynter rooms form the first museum restaurant in the world.

On the other side of the street is the Natural History Museum and although I’m not a big fan of taxidermy, you can’t miss seeing the beautiful Waterhouse Building in person.

… more pictures to follow soon!

Loving your photos! (I had people tell me I HAD to visit the V&A museum because it was awesome and I was all, yeah, okay, I’ll go…. and then my mind was blown and I wanted to spend my entire trip to London in there! It’s beyond awesome – so full of amazing things, unexpected things like a collection of teeeeny tiny portrait miniatures (avatars for the 1700s?).
