My friend Lindsay and I are working on a Roxypop design overhaul and we need your help! Roxypop specializes in sewn, crocheted, and other fabric goods. All items are handmade using top quality materials such as wool, bamboo fill, and a selection of Japanese and thrifted fabric. Inspired by vintage and kawaii Japanese culture, she presents an eclectic range of gifts and small accessories for both children and adults. The Roxypop collection includes wool apple cozies, assorted fabric pouches, badge sets, small accessories, pin cushions, and cat nip treats for your special feline!
I started crafting in 2007, but the name dates back to 2000 when I was talking on the phone with a Roxy sticker and eating a popisicle. Get it? Roxy + pop? POW! I’m looking to streamline my packaging this year and although I love handmaking all of my packaging which I currently do with the help of Robert, it can be time consuming! I’m super thrilled to have Lindsay on my team, but I’m having a bit of trouble deciding on which concept to choose from the lovely examples she provided above.
Care to share your feedback? Leave a comment below with your favourite design e.g. 2b or 3c. Please keep in mind that these are only rough sketches, so colour will be added later. I’ll choose one lovely commenter on Monday, March 12th, 2012 at noon (PST) to send a Roxypop thank you package to! ** open to commentors worldwide.

I think I’m leaning towards concept 1: a or c and concept 2: a
I LOVE #3 – all three of those – they remind me a bit too much of vintage candy / food labels, though. Which is ultra-cool, but maybe not what you wanted to go for?
All #2 is really cute, but not I don’t feel they’re as strong as the other sets.
Overall I’d go for one of the concepts in #1. As a set they’re completely awesome. Looking at them on their own, while #1a kind of looks like a stylized graphic of your apple cozy, and #1b just has a cool stitched/graphic look, I think the strongest of the three is #1c in terms of visual elements, font use and graphic.
So long-comment-short: I’m enamored with #1c.
Hope that helped? A little? Maybe? :)
Freakin’ awesome work, though.
My favourite is 1 c. I like the arrow :) 3 a would be my 2nd pick.
Hard decision! I’m leaning toward the vintage set. Of these, my favourite is b, then a. I also like c in cute/craftsy. Good luck deciding.
I like 1c. Reminds me of the Japanese ritual of firing arrows at the beginning of the year to drive away misfortune and to bring a year of good luck.
oh…so cute!!!!!
i like option c in all categories.
Concept 3, option B gets my vote! :)
1c caught my eye right away, feel like it just has enough kistch and kawaii but still modern and clean.
3A gets my vote for sure! Looks like a soda pop label and is fresh. I think it translates well in grey print and would look great in black and white. I would love to see the crazy, fresh options for colour with this one!!!
At the end of the day… they are all awesome…. alas 3A gets my top vote spot!
#1B is my first choice, but with the white writing a bit thicker (bold?), so that it stands out a bit more. #1C is my second choice. Good Luck – they all look great!
What a cute name!!! I think concept 1,c and concept 3,b are suitable for your business.
My favourites are 1a and 3a. I find 1b a little hard to read. Maybe I need to put my glasses on.
Concept 3: b is nice , simple and clean, but I do like concept 1:c because it’s fun.
I like 1C or 3A – all so cute, but those feel a little bit more playful to me… :) Happy branding!
my vote is for 1a! great selection.
