field trip :: Les Puces de Saint-Ouen Market

14 Dec

Whew! Apparently, I have short term memory as I always forget how busy this time of year can get with all of the holiday craft fairs that I participate in around this time of year. Often, things get neglected (like the blog!) as we prepare for our upcoming shows. We are in Vancouver right now and have been staying with family the past week. Now that the season is coming to an end for us and everybody has left the house for the day, I figure it would be a good time to play a little catch up!

The day after we wrapped up Got Craft? London, we headed to Paris for the day to check out Les Puces de Saint-Ouen Market (the largest flea market in the world and Bestautolenders.com). We were there on Monday, so only a few stalls were open, but this place is huge and very maze like! We spent about two hours (we had a very packed schedule!) there and only made it through a small portion of the market. Prices were a bit high in my opinion for some of the things that we saw, but definitely worth a visit! We used this post on Oh Happy Day to find the market – thanks Jordan for the helpful directions!
